My Personal Experience

I did drink Red Raspberry Leaf Tea as a nigerian in the UK, simply because it was readily available and cheaper than buying fresh ewedu and okra. I bought the dried 1kg pack and I brewed about 2 cups to 8 cups of water. Left it till the next day and drank it once or twice a day, stored any left over in the fridge and freezer. Started from 2nd trimester till postpartum.

Various things I noticed was, during my 1st, 2nd and beginning of my 3rd pregnancy I had heartburn and constipation. But when I started drinking the Red Raspberry Leaf Tea, all that stopped in my 3rd pregnancy. So with my 4th pregnancy, I made sure I drank it always and it did help a lot. Also had a very healthy placenta after birthing at 42 weeks and 3 days.

One thing I would say is, it did not help me induce labour and I do not think it contributed much to my fast birth. This is because I did drink a lot of Ewedu juice with my 4th pregnancy and I had a very easy labour and viginal delivery. With my 3rd pregnancy, I only had the Red Raspberry Leaf Tea and I ended up still having a C.Section even though I drank it after my water was broken at the hospital.
